2 Walk around your home or building and physically count the number of weep holes around your foundation and around your windows and other areas if they exist.
What the home owner did was insert the full 2.75 inch clip ensuring it was pushed down into the bottom of the weep hole, thereby leaving the only visible gap at the top. Then he took snips and cut a spare stainless steel insert to fit this gap. The remaining spare insert would be used similarly for other abnormal weep holes.
