If you have mice in your living space placing tea in the corner may temporarily lead to no visible sign of mice in your living space but it certainly doesn't mean no mice in your walls and attic. Infact if you see signs of 1 mouse there are typically 5 to 10 more. Equally important if a mouse feels safe in your home they will just move into a space that is not impacted by the tea.

Turns out Mice aren't like humans where if something bothers us we leave. If mice feel safe and have food they will put up with the smell. But more importantly the peppermint oil will lose its intensity as the fumes rise. Mice will move a few feet away or cut new holes to get to their nesting sites. And given the square footage of your home, the cost of a tiny vile of oil and the need to constantly re-apply its a make work project to no end and no satisfaction.
